James Garner Boulevard between Linn and Apache to close on 8/18/26 for water line replacement construction

James Garner Boulevard will soon be closed to traffic between W. Linn Street and W. Apache Street to allow for a City contractor to install a replacement water line across the roadway in preparation for the future James Garner Boulevard improvement project. The closure will begin on 8/18/2026, and is expected to remain in place until 5 PM 8/21/26.
During this time, the entire roadway will be closed and traffic will be detoured to adjacent streets. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and follow all posted traffic control signage in the area.
