Celebrate WSU football with fellow fans ahead of Famous Idaho Potato Bowl

Washington State University alumni and fans have several opportunities to mingle with their fellow Cougs in Boise ahead of the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl:

Official Cougar pregame event

Monday, Dec. 22, 9 a.m.-noon MST

The official Cougar pregame event is taking place from 9 a.m.-noon MST Monday, Dec. 22, within the Tent Village at Albertsons Stadium. Inside heated tents in the shadow of the stadium, fans will fuel up with a breakfast buffet, participate in branded giveaways, and hear from the Cougar Marching Band and spirit squad.

Members of the WSU Alumni Association, Cougar Collective, the Cougar Athletic Fund, or Gray W can purchase tickets for the event for $55, with non-members asked to pay $65. More information about the event, including answers to frequently asked questions, is available on the WSU Alumni Association website.

The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Mash Bash

Sunday, Dec. 21, 6-7 p.m. MST

Events are also planned for the evening prior to the game between WSU and Utah State. The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Mash Bash is taking place at the Boise Centre on the Grove from 6-7 p.m. MST Sunday. The event will feature marching bands and cheer squads from the future Pac-12rivals.

Welcome reception and Cougar football hour

Sunday, Dec. 21, 7-9 p.m. MST

The WSU Foundation will also host a reception Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. MST at the Treefort Music Hall, 722 W. Broad St. in downtown Boise. Registration for the ticketed event closes on Friday, Dec. 19, with more information available on the WSU Foundation's website.

Roundtrip bus service

Monday, Dec. 22
Spokane pick up: 2:30 a.m. PST | Pullman pick up: 4 a.m. PST

For those interested in traveling to the game alongside their fellow Cougs, the WSU Alumni Association is chartering a roundtrip bus to Boise. The bus will pick up passengers at the WSU Spokane Center for Clinical Research and Simulation on the Spokane campus at 2:30 a.m. Monday. The bus will then travel to the parking lot of the former Pullman Building Supply, 400 Fairmount Dr., where it's scheduled to arrive at 4 a.m. Tickets to the game are not included in the price of the bus ride.
