Throughout this Congress, Chair Ernst plans to recognize a small business in every one of Iowa's 99 counties.

RED OAK, Iowa - U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Chair of the Senate Small Business Committee, today announced her Small Business of the Week: LeRette Funeral Chapel of Montgomery County. Throughout the 119th Congress, Chair Ernst plans to recognize a small business in each of Iowa's 99 counties.

"During life's most difficult moments, LeRette Funeral Chapel is there to provide families with personalized and affordable care and services," said Chair Ernst. "Through kindness, patience, and respect, Brian and Dawn LeRette are committed to supporting the Red Oak community with dignity and compassion."

Founded in 1914 and deeply rooted in Southwest Iowa, LeRette Funeral Chapel has long been a dependable resource for families in Montgomery County. Today, under the ownership of Brian and Dawn LeRette, the funeral chapel continues its legacy of compassion and service. In 2023, a fire forced the LeRettes to rebuild from the ground up. With support from the Red Oak community, they reopened at a new location in 2025 and continue to provide comfort and care when families need it most.

Stay tuned as Chair Ernst continues to recognize outstanding Iowa small businesses with her Small Business of the Week award.
