Washington, DC, September 18, 2025 - Amy Andryszak, President & CEO of the Interstate Natural GasAssociation of America (INGAA) issued the following statement congratulating Paul Roberti on his confirmation by the U.S. Senate as Administrator of the Pipelineand Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA):

"INGAA Congratulates Mr. Roberti on his confirmation as PHMSA Administrator. Mr. Roberti's long career in the public sector, including at the Rhode IslandDivision of Public Utilities and Carriers and as Chief Counsel of PHMSA during the first Trump Administration, makes him eminently qualified for the role.

"As one of INGAA's primary regulators, PHMSA is tasked with setting national pipelinesafety policy, establishing and enforcing safety standards, and conducting research to prevent incidents. During his July 16th confirmation hearing, Mr. Roberti highlighted the vital role that pipelines play in bolstering America's economy and energy security. He stated his commitment to prioritizing safety, embracing new technologies to reduce risks, and collaborating with partners to defend against threats while striving for zero incidents.

"Safety is the top priority for all INGAA members, and we look forward to working with Administrator Roberti and his team to achieve our collective goal of zero incidents and to establish durable regulations to improve the safety and integrity of the infrastructure our members operate."
