Everything Sprouts/River Valley Sprouts have advised they have been contacted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regarding an ongoing outbreak of E. coli and Salmonella affecting multiple states. The FDA has advised that alfalfa sprouts or alfalfa seeds may be a potential source of contamination under investigation. At this time, the outbreak has not been isolated to or linked specifically to Alfalfa products from Everything Sprouts but as a precautionary measure all sales of these products have been paused.
