House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Youth Exposure to Kratom and Retail Available Substances to Hold First Meeting in Atlanta

ATLANTA - The House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Youth Exposure to Kratom and Retail Available Substances, chaired by State Representative Rick Townsend (R-Brunswick), will hold its first meeting on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 9 a.m. in room 415 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building in Atlanta, Georgia.

The House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Youth Exposure to Kratom and Retail-Available Substances will evaluate the impact of these products on minors to strengthen protections, reduce access and create healthier outcomes for Georgia's youth.
