The Royal Thai Embassy in Lisbon organized a 50th Day Merit-Making Ceremony dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at Sumedharam Monastery in Ericeira, Portugal. The Buddhist ceremony was presided over by Ajahn Vajiro, Abbot of Sumedharam Monastery. In this connection, Mrs. Kanokwan Pengsuwan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Portugal, led the Embassy's officials in attending the chanting of Abidhamma, offering alms to monks, and practicing meditation to dedicate merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother with profound remembrance and respect.
