CONCORD, NH - Today, Governor Kelly Ayotte, state leaders, officials from the City of Laconia, and motorcycle enthusiasts welcomed riders to the 103rd Laconia Motorcycle Week.
Ahead of Bike Week events beginning on Friday, June 12, the Governor celebrated an iconic New Hampshire tradition that draws riders from around the world each year, and joined state and local officials in reminding riders to stay safe as they enjoy their time in the Granite State.
"Laconia Motorcycle Week is a New Hampshire tradition for motorcycle enthusiasts, and I'm proud to welcome riders from across the country and the world for this iconic event," said Governor Ayotte. "Thank you to all of the riders for choosing the Granite State as your destination, and please ride safely as you enjoy the festivities. We hope you make unforgettable memories and that you'll return soon to experience more of what our beautiful state has to offer."
"The riders who visit us each year are respectful, generous, and passionate about the open road," said Cynthia Makris, owner of The NASWA Resort and President of the Laconia Motorcycle Week Association. "They return not only for the spectacular riding that New Hampshire offers, but because they have become part of our extended family. We are honored to welcome them back year after year and remain committed to preserving the traditions, camaraderie, and spirit that have made both The NASWA Resort and Laconia Motorcycle Week enduring New Hampshire treasures."
