Blue Tiger Challenge Invites Lincoln Alumni to Give Back During Homecoming 2026
A $20,000 pledge from alumnus Hardy K. Dorsey Sr. '69 launches the Blue Tiger Challenge, inviting 250 Lincoln alumni, including 100 first-time donors, to give back during Homecoming 2026.
Lincoln University of Missouri alumni are being invited to participate in the inaugural Blue Tiger Challenge, a new giving initiative launching during Homecoming 2026.
The challenge began with a $20,000 pledge from Lincoln alumnus Hardy K. Dorsey Sr. '69. Its goal is to bring together 250 alumni donors, including 100 first-time donors, to support Lincoln and strengthen the tradition of alumni giving.
Alumni from every generation are encouraged to participate, and gifts of any amount count toward the challenge. The initiative is designed to emphasize alumni participation and the collective impact of Blue Tigers giving back to their university.
Gifts will help support opportunities for current Lincoln students while strengthening the connection between alumni and the university. Organizers also envision the Blue Tiger Challenge becoming an annual Homecoming tradition that brings alumni together to invest in Lincoln's future.
The challenge launches as generations of Blue Tigers return to campus for Homecoming 2026 and celebrate Lincoln's 160th anniversary.
Alumni can participate by making a gift through the Blue Tiger Challenge. Whether it is a first gift or one of many, every contribution counts toward the goal of bringing 250 alumni donors together.
