On Oct. 1, 2025, the Kansas Health Institute hosted a hybrid symposium that examined the complex relationship between health insurance coverage and access to care in Kansas. Drawing on the latest insights from KHI's annual health insurance coverage publications, the event analyzed current trends and took a deeper look at what access to care truly means for Kansans.
The symposium explored how federal and state policies, along with factors such as geography and population needs, influence access to care across the state. Through interactive discussions and breakout sessions, participants identified key challenges and uncovered opportunities to improve access to care in Kansas.
Event recording and resources will be posted soon.
