Henderson Police Investigate Fatal Crash
HENDERSON, Nev. (Oct. 26, 2026) - On October 24, 2026, at approximately 8:26 p.m., the Henderson Police Department and Henderson Fire responded to calls of a two-vehicle crash on Lake Mead Parkway near Lake Las Vegas Parkway.
A preliminary investigation found the driver of a Chevrolet Bolt was traveling west on Lake Mead Parkway when the vehicle crossed the double yellow road markings, resulting in a head-on collision with a Dodge Durango.
The driver of the Chevrolet Bolt was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Dodge Durango suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The driver of the Dodge Durango is not suspected of impairment. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The name of the deceased driver will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office after next of kin notifications.
