On October 27-28, 2025, on the sidelines of the III Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, held bilateral meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto.
During the meeting on October 27, 2025 with the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, topical issues of the development of bilateral political dialogue and plans for joint activities were discussed. Special attention was paid to preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Joint Board of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Russia.
In addition, the Ministers discussed the issue of ensuring regional security in the context of growing tensions on the European continent, as well as its impact on the Republic of Belarus, in detail.
During the talks on October 28, 2025 with the head of the Hungarian diplomatic department, the parties exchanged views on key issues on the international agenda. The main topic of the meeting was the implementation of the decisions reached during the 13th meeting of the Belarusian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, held in Minsk on September 10, 2025.
The parties also discussed the problem of existing challenges and threats in the Eastern European region, as well as ways to resolve them as soon as possible.
