LODI, NJ - Today, January 19, 2026, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) joined with the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Bergen County and the community in Lodi for a day of service to package essential items for families and individuals in need.
The event was held at the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Bergen County's Lodi Clubhouse and brought together volunteers to honor Dr. King's legacy of service.
"As we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s life and legacy, we're reminded that service to others is one of the most powerful ways to uphold his vision," said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). "Today was about coming together as a community to help our neighbors and make a real difference for those who need it most. I'm grateful to the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Bergen County and every volunteer who stepped up to serve."
Gottheimer was joined by Joseph Licata, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Bergen County, and local volunteers.
