Local Business Owner Wendy Tirado Named to Charlotte County’s April 40 Under 40

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (April 21, 2026) - Charlotte County Economic Development is proud to recognize Wendy Tirado, owner of Dream Salon & Spa in Punta Gorda, as the April honoree in the 40 Under 40 program, celebrating young professionals who are making a significant impact in the community.

Tirado represents a growing movement of professionals who are choosing to build their careers in Charlotte County. A graduate of Charlotte High School and Charlotte Technical College, she began her journey in the beauty industry locally, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship that helped shape her leadership style and career path. Rather than leaving the area, Tirado invested in her future here, opening Dream Salon & Spa and contributing to the vibrancy of downtown Punta Gorda.

Since opening her business, Tirado has focused on building a strong team culture rooted in respect, collaboration, and professional development. Her leadership extends beyond her salon, serving as a board member for the Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce and actively supporting local nonprofits and community initiatives.
