University Student Teachers Working at Area Schools

Twenty-one University of Scranton education majors are gaining valuable experience this fall, serving as student teachers at local schools.

In total, the 21 students are performing their duties at 10 schools across seven school districts in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Below is a list of the undergraduate and graduate students who are serving as student teachers during the fall term:

Liam Ahern, of Dunmore, will teach at Dunmore Elementary Center

Alex Boyd, of Water Mill, New York, will teach at John Adams Elementary School

Julia Brophy, of Rockville Centre, New York, will teach at Jefferson Elementary School

Margaret Burkhimer, of Norristown, will teach at Lakeland Elementary School

Kaitlyn Cleary, of Hicksville, New York, will teach at R.D. Wilson Elementary School

Kaitlyn Dobres, of Randolph, New Jersey, will teach at John G. Whittier Elementary School

Naveen El-Dabsheh, of Kingston, will teach at Dunmore Elementary Center

Ariel Hittle, of North Wales, will teach at Lakeland Elementary School

Jessica Hughes, of Scranton, will teach at Neil Armstrong Elementary School
