'RADIANCE: Art, Culture and Community' Exhibition Opens July 16 at Southfield City Hall

Mayor Kenson Siver and the Southfield Public Arts Commission (SPAC) invite residentsand visitors to experience "RADIANCE: Art, Culture and Community," a vibrant new exhibition celebrating creativity, culture, and community through the work of eight accomplished artists.

The exhibition opens with a free Artist Opening Reception on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. in the Southfield City Hall Main Lobby, 26000 Evergreen Road. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the featured artists, explore the exhibition, and enjoy light refreshments.

The exhibition will remain on display July 16 through September 30, 2026, during regular City Hall business hours.

Curated by the Southfield Public Arts Commission, "RADIANCE: Art, Culture and Community" showcases a diverse collection of artwork that reflects the richness of artistic expression while celebrating the connections that bring communities together. The exhibition features a variety of styles and media designed to inspire conversation, reflection, and appreciation for the visual arts.

  • Kenneth Hershenson
  • Laith Karmo
  • Nigel McReynolds
  • Ashley Menth
  • Jay Roberts
  • Robert Trammell

Many of the works will be available for purchase unless otherwise noted.

The Southfield Public Arts Commission presents quarterly exhibitions that support emerging and established artists while making visual arts accessible to the community. Through these exhibitions, the Commission continues its mission of promoting creativity, cultural appreciation, and community engagement.

The Artist Opening Reception is free and open to the public.
