Applications Open for “Crash the GAC 2027”

Emerging credit union leaders have an opportunity to take their careers to the next level. Applications are now open for Crash the GAC 2027, a unique experience designed for the next generation of credit union leaders.

Crash the GAC is the Cooperative Trust's flagship leadership development opportunity, held in partnership with America's Credit Unions. The program brings together rising stars from credit unions across the country to experience the Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) in Washington, D.C., while gaining valuable insights, building professional connections, and advocating for the credit union movement.

Selected Crashers will receive complimentary conference registration and participate in exclusive programming designed to accelerate their leadership development and spark fresh ideas.

What Can Crashers Expect?

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Hear from world-class keynote speakers and industry thought leaders.
• Join credit union Leagues on Capitol Hill to meet with lawmakers and advocate for the credit union difference.
• Explore innovative products, services, and solutions in the industry's largest exhibit hall.
• Build meaningful relationships with credit union peers, policymakers, and business leaders.
• Experience Washington, D.C., through networking receptions and exclusive events.

Who Should Apply?
Crash the GAC is designed for passionate, motivated credit union professionals age 40 and under, with occasional exceptions for those who are "40-at-heart." Ideal candidates are eager to grow as leaders, expand their professional networks, and make a lasting impact on the credit union movement.

Selected Crashers will receive complimentary GAC registration. Travel, hotel accommodations, and meals or entertainment outside of the provided programming are the responsibility of the participant and/or their credit union.
