Celebrate International Education Week at WWU with geography and music

November 14, 2025

International Education Week 2025 - Nov. 17-21, 2025 - is a celebration of the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.

Geography Bee

11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 20, Carver 104

Come to the Peace Corps Geography Bee to learn about the countries and jobs Peace Corps currently serves in. Win prizes and test your geography skills! Peace Corps is currently serving in 61 countries worldwide. The Geography Bee will challenge your geography knowledge from as far away as Fiji, across the oceans, to Paraguay, and many countries in between. Pizza will be served.

Peace Corps Music From Around the World Challenge

1 - 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 21, Miller Hall 138

Identify the countries where Peace Corps serves and learn about the music from each country. There will be prizes for those who correctly identify music from each country, and pizza for all. Peace Corps is a transformative experience that allows you to work with people from different cultures around the globe, facilitating people-to-people intercultural exchange.
