Expected AU release: September 3, 2025 ACT
Expected release for all other: September 3, 2025 PT
Knowledge Base updates: September 3, 2025 PT
With this release, we've removed the limit for the number of coding suggestions generated at once, made improvements to Deep Dive's quote-finding accuracy, added new analytics events, and more - read on for more information about the features coming out this month!
User-facing features in this release:
When generating Coding Suggestions, there is no longer a limit to the number of codes for which you can generate suggestions for in a single action. This applies to both batch actions from the results table and for running suggestions on a single document in the review window.
Previously, the limit was 10 codes per action.
When you generate suggestions for more than 10 codes at once, the credits used for the generation scale up accordingly:
Note
The baseline number of credits used (X) depends on the number of documents included in the action and the amount of text in those documents.

Everlaw AI's Deep Dive fact highlighter continues to become more accurate. We introduced Deep Dive Hits in our previous release, which instantly directs users to the quoted facts included in Deep Dive answers. Our internal testing shows that text match accuracy has improved from ~90% to ~97%.
Beta
Deep Dive is a Beta feature. Please email [email protected] with any questions or issues related to this tool.
We have added three new analytics events to the Admin Activity page. With this release, events are recorded when a user:
These improvements to our analytics provide better tracking of which users performed uploads (both native and processed) and when each upload was created. This can support you in:
Organizations using Everlaw's API can use the API to access these events. For instructions on how to use any external Everlaw API, please refer to the API documentation for your region. For more information, visit Organization Admin: Everlaw API.
A new processing stage has been added for native uploads. This new stage - Artifacts - is displayed in native upload cards alongside the existing processing stages: Examine, PDF, and Text.
Media transcoding has been moved under this processing stage; previously it was listed under Text, which could cause confusion when addressing errors.
Users (re)processing a document to transcode it also no longer need to transcribing it as well (and vice versa).
Several new data points related to tracking platform time are available via Everlaw's API:

The following visual improvements have been made:
We have made some visual improvements to the Upload page (Data transfer > Uploads). These improvements are designed to support users in selecting the correct upload type and to avoid unexpected issues with their data or with billing.

We have updated "chips," which often represent review work, throughout the platform. These updates are most noticeable for the chips for Storybuilder objects, which have been redesigned with icons that represent the aspect of Storybuilder that they relate to.

The other most noticeable update is for codes in the review window. In the Currently applied section, the text for codes you have applied is now green, and the text for codes you remove is now red.

We have changed the label of the button used to start an import of review work onto documents. Previously, this button (on the Project Settings > Codes page) was labeled Import codes and more. Now, it is labeled Import/apply review work. We made this change to better reflect the purpose of that button.

Note
These are changes to GovCloud only.
We have made visual updates across the platform to reflect the cloud upload options available within GovCloud.
For example, on the Native upload page (Data Transfer > Uploads > Native), the options available for cloud applications and cloud storage now only display the tools that are available to use in GovCloud. Previously, a larger selection of cloud storage tools were displayed, even if they were not available.

We changed the text of production's access log buttons from View Access Log to View/Manage Access Log.
