One-Way Traffic Controls Next Week

Mariposa County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place for the following construction and maintenance activities on State Route 49 (SR-49), SR-132, & SR-140 in Mariposa County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 49

• One-way traffic control from Shilling Road to Buckhorn Fire Road for utility work beginning Monday, March 16, through Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

State Route 132

• One-way traffic control from Horseshoe Bend to State Route 49 / Coulterville for utility work beginning Monday, March 16, through Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

State Route 140

• One-way traffic control from South Incline Road to Foresta Road for barrier installation work beginning Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 20, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic at Fourth Street for sign/banner work on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
