TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - UPDATE Upcoming I-95/Rt 896 Interchange Traffic Pattern Changes
Newark - ; The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that there will be traffic pattern changes on northbound I-95 and northbound SR 896 the week of October 13th as part of the I-95/Rt 896 Interchange Project. (All work weather permitting)
I-95 NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGE: The traffic pattern on northbound I-95 northbound will be modified overnight Monday October 13 into Tuesday October 14 for bridge rehabilitation.
Rt 896 NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGE: Northbound Rt 896 between the Old Baltimore Pike and the I-95 interchange and the northbound Rt 896 to northbound I-95 on-ramp will be closed overnight Tuesday, October 14th into Wednesday, October 15th, Wednesday, October 15th into Thursday, October 16th, and Thursday, October 16th into Friday, October 17th to implement a new traffic pattern on northbound Rt 896 and install an overhead sign structure. (All work weather permitting)
