SCO Member State Experts Discuss Strengthening the Legal Framework in the Anti-Drug Sphere

On April 15, 2026, a regular meeting of the Working Group of Experts on Improving Legal Framework for Cooperation of the Meeting of Heads of Competent Authorities of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States Empowered to Combat Illicit Drug Trafficking was held via videoconference under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side.
During the meeting, experts reviewed a number of draft documents aimed at strengthening the regulatory and legal framework in the field of drug control.
They exchanged views on regarding changes in the national legislations of member states in the anti-drug sphere.
