Lane Closure Advisory for the Transform 285/400 Project

WHAT: Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation contractors will close lanes for punch list activities. Travel restrictions include possible delays, reduced speeds, and detours in some areas.

WHEN/WHERE:

Overnight Closures:

Monday, June 15, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • One, right-lane on Mt. Vernon Highway eastbound at Barfield Road.
  • One, right-lane on Peachtree Dunwoody Road northbound and westbound at Lake Hearn Drive.
Tuesday, June 16, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • One, right-lane on Peachtree Dunwoody Road northbound and westbound at Lake Hearn Drive.
Wednesday, June 17, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • One, right-lane on Peachtree Dunwoody Road northbound and westbound at Lake Hearn Drive.
  • One, right-lane on Abernathy Road eastbound and westbound at Barfield Road.
Thursday, June 18, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • One, right-lane on Abernathy Road eastbound and westbound at Barfield Road.
  • One, right-lane on Abernathy Road eastbound at SR 400 southbound.
Friday, June 19, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • One, right-lane on Abernathy Road eastbound at SR 400 southbound.
  • Temporary traffic delay (up to 10 minutes) on Abernathy Road at SR 400 northbound.

Exact construction dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones. Pay attention and watch for workers.
