The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has extended the deadline for the Acer Access and Development Program (Acer) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). Applications must be submitted electronically through www.grants.gov by 11:59 p.m. ET by July 7, 2026. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered for funding.
On May 22, USDA announced the Acer program will fund up to $5 million in competitive grants to support the maple syrup industry through activities associated with research and education related to maple syrup production, natural resource sustainability in the maple syrup industry, and the marketing of maple syrup and maple-sap products.
