Families USA Joins Amicus Briefs to Stop the Trump Administration’s Harmful Marketplace Integrity Rule

Families USA joined amicus briefs in two lawsuits to stop the Trump administration's harmful "marketplace integrity rule" from going into effect. The cases, City of Columbus et al v. Kennedy et al and State of California et al v. Kennedy et al, challenge a rule that would allow marketplace health plans to cover less of the cost of care, shorten the open enrollment period, and increase paperwork burdens for people enrolling in marketplace coverage. For the latest developments in these cases, see Georgetown University's litigation tracker, here and here.
