Energy Facility Siting Council to Meet February 13

SALEM - The next regularly scheduled meeting of Oregon's Energy Facility Siting Council will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026. Attendance will be open to the public both in person in Salem, OR and virtually using the online Webex platform. Please see the meeting agenda for more detailed information, including meeting time, location, and instructions on how to attend virtually.

Rulemaking Action Items:

· Exemption Rulemaking Public Hearing

· Tribal Communication Notice of Proposed Rulemaking

· Radioactive Materials Enforcement Rulemaking Five-year Review

Appointment of Hearing Officer for Future Contested Case Proceeding on Proposed Order on ASCs for Saddle Butte Energy Facility, Speedway Energy Facility and Well Springs Solar Project (Action Items) - Sarah Esterson, Senior Policy Advisor. Council will consider appointment of Oregon Office of Administrative Hearings Senior Administrative Law Judges, in accordance with ORS 469.470, as the Hearing Officer for contested case proceedings associated with Saddle Butte Energy Facility, Speedway Energy Facility, and Well Springs Solar Project.
