PUBLIC NOTICE |PUBLIC HEARING REPORT

Council wishes to advise that the Public Hearing Report(PDF, 43MB) in relation to Planning Proposal 2025-1842 and Planning Proposal 2025-1846 is now available.

Planning Proposal 2025-1842 and Planning Proposal 2025-1846 for the reclassification of sixteen (16) Council-owned parcels of land from Community Land to Operational Land were the subject of a Public Hearing as required by the Local Government Act 1993.

The Public Hearing was held on 14 May 2026, with Currajong Pty Ltd engaged to independently chair the public hearing and prepare an independent report on its results.

This report was received by Council on 14 August 2026 and in accordance with clause 47G of the Local Government Act 1993, is being made available for inspection by the public. A copy of the report is available here(PDF, 43MB) , or by inspection at Councils Administration Building located at 73 Camp Street Grenfell NSW 2810.

The public hearing report is also scheduled to be presented to Council at its Ordinary Meeting to be held on 20 August 2026 at 5.00pm in the Council Chambers, located in Council's Administration Building.
