Opening night for Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company's presentation of "Come From Away" is May 8.
In the days following 9/11, thousands of stranded airline passengers found unexpected kindness in a small town in Newfoundland - where strangers became neighbors and compassion took center stage.
Those powerful true stories come to life in "Come From Away," a moving musical that captures the heart, humor and humanity that emerged during a difficult time. It's a reminder of how people can come together in extraordinary ways.
Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company's performances of "Come From Away" will take place at the Carson City Community Center:
• May 8, 14, 15, 16 at 7 p.m.
• May 9 and 10 at 5 p.m.
• May 9, 10, 16 and 17 at 2 p.m.
