SCAM ALERT: Calls to Debtors Directing Payment to Bankruptcy Courts

Debtors around the nation have reported receiving fraudulent phone calls claiming to be from the Bankruptcy Court. The caller may demand payment or request other personal information.
These phone calls are not from the Bankruptcy Court, and the Bankruptcy Court will not contact a debtor by phone requesting payment. Do not provide the caller with any personal information, credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or money. Please contact the Bankruptcy Court at 404-215-1000 if you have any questions regarding this scam alert.
