Sierra Pacific Industries Reopening California & Oregon Forestlands for Public Access


Anderson, CA-Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) will reopen its California and Oregon forestlands to public access and recreation effective immediately.

SPI's public access policy allows for the use of most of the company's forestlands for hunting and other recreational activities. Among other restrictions, overnight camping, campfires, and smoking are prohibited. Motorized use in many areas is restricted for resource protection and public safety concerns. Other areas may be posted as closed for active operations, post-wildfire restoration activities, existing leases, wildlife protection and other considerations.
