Terre Haute, IN (August 27, 2026) - Great Dane is proud to announce its Central Fabrication team has marked two years without a recordable safety incident. The facility is located on the Great Dane Terre Haute campus in Terre Haute, Indiana, where the company's Champion dry vans are built.
"The true measure of a great team isn't just what it produces, but it's how consistently it protects the people who make that success possible," said Doug Schultz, Plant Manager at Great Dane Terre Haute. "More than two years without a recordable injury is an incredible accomplishment and a reflection of the commitment each member of our Central Fab team brings to work every day. Central Fabrication manufactures upper couplers for Great Dane dry vans, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers. Known for exceptional quality, Great Dane's upper coupler is a high- impact structural component designed to handle repeated heavy loads with industry-leading durability.
