The FDNY to Provide an Udpate on Fatal Bronx 5-Alarm Fire

On Friday, April 24, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., FDNY officials will provide an update on the ongoing investigation into the fatal 5-alarm fire that took place at 660 East 187 Street on Tuesday. The Department will also release a new PSA related to the fire.
FDNY members who responded to the fire will also be in attendance to discuss rescues of trapped residents.
