Public Input Sought for Santa Rosa County Watershed Master Plan

Santa Rosa County is requesting residents' review of its Watershed Master Plan, which analyzes how our land and water should be managed - it studies where water flows, where problems might come from (like flooding), and lays out steps and guidelines to protect our rivers, lands, and communities.

The draft Santa Rosa County Watershed Master Plan is available for review and comment. Residents are asked to review the draft and provide any comments to Miranda Sargent at [email protected] by Sunday, Dec.14 . Feedback on this draft will help confirm priorities and ensure the plan reflects the needs of Santa Rosa County residents and stakeholders.

After the comment period closes, all feedback will be reviewed, and a final Watershed Master Plan will be prepared for consideration and adoption.
