Calling all teens! Discover your next job or volunteer opportunity at SBPL's annual Teen Job & Volunteer Fair on Wednesday, April 15 from 4:00-6:00pm at Central Library on the Michael Towbes Library Plaza.
This free event connects teens with local businesses and organizations offering summer jobs, internships, and volunteer positions. Participants will have the chance to meet directly with representatives from a wide range of employers and nonprofits. Opportunities include part-time jobs in retail and food service, internships with local nonprofit organizations, and meaningful community service roles that help teens earn volunteer hours while making a difference.
More than 200 teens connected with job and volunteer opportunities at last year's fair. "This is a great way for teens to explore what's out there, build confidence, and take the next steps towards entering the workforce," said Teen Services Librarian, Kendra Moss.
The fair is open to teens in grades 9-12, and parents or guardians are welcome to attend as well. Registration is not required, and food provided by Dave's Dogs will be available for the first 150 participating teens.
