DEFA Film Library to Host Film Streaming Event in Celebration of Director Konrad Wolf’s Centennial

The DEFA Film Library and the German Studies Association will present a free streaming event Sept. 29-Oct. 5 in celebration of director Konrad Wolf's 100th birthday.
"The Early Films of Konrad Wolf" will consist of three of Wolf's early films, "People with Wings" (1960), "Recovery" (1955) and "Once Does Not Count" (1955), which have rarely been screened and were overshadowed by Wolf's other feature films that found their way to international festival screenings.
Subtitled in English for the first time, the films are now accessible to a wider audience, offering a more comprehensive overview of the director's film oeuvre.
