Governor Josh Shapiro delivered remarks and participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville to commemorate the passengers and crew of Flight 93 who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
In 2024, Governor Shapiro signed legislation requiring Pennsylvania schools to observe a moment of silence and identify a model curriculum to teach students about the significance of September 11.
