Schedule an in-person financial consultation with Corebridge Financial's (Formerly AIG/VALIC) Tom Smith - Sept. 23

Tom Smith, financial advisor for Corebridge Financial (formerly AIG/Valic), will be on campus and available for one-on-one consultations Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026.

These consultations will take place in Terrell Hall's Conference Room (Room #115). Smith will have availability from 9 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. in 45-minute increments, which means availability will be limited. It is advised that you reserve your time ASAP.

These meetings are available for employees with existing ORP, 403(b) and/or 457(b) who have chosen Corebridge to manage some/all of their investments, along with those who may be interested in opening a 403(b) and/or 457(b) accounts and having Corebridge manage some/all of their investments. During these meetings, you can discuss/ask questions such as:

• How do my retirement benefits actually work?
• How do I make sure I'm saving enough?
• What are my options to roll over my previous employer's 401(k)?
• What's the difference between a beneficiary and a trusted contact and how do I update them with my plan?
• How do I set up a portfolio review to make sure my goals and priorities match?
• I'm close to retirement, what do I do?
