INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested O'Shane O. Wright 29, of Fort Edward New York.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the Village of Fort Edward for a report of an order of protection violation. Upon arrival on scene it was confirmed that Mr. Wright was in the residence with the protected party of a stay away order of protection. Wright was arrested and charged with criminal contempt 2nd a Class A Misdemeanor and Aggravated Family Offense, a Class E Felony due having a prior conviction of a specified offense within the immediately preceding five years. Wright was arraigned at Centralized Arraignment and released on his own recognizance to appear in the Town of Fort Edward Court at a later date.
