NMA Applauds Proposed Repeal of Biden Land Use Overreach

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The National Mining Association (NMA) today released the following statement from Rich Nolan, President and CEO, concerning the proposed repeal of the Biden Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Conservation and Landscape Health Rule:

"The new rule is a welcome change from the prior clear disregard for the legal obligation to balance multiple uses on federal lands. The Biden administration unlawfully placed conservation above all else, enacted unwarranted land withdrawals and 180-degree reversals of fully approved projects. This new rule reinstates the balance of federal land use intended by Congress, ensuring that our vast resources can meet today's soaring energy needs and become the secure mineral supply chains for American industry."
