Resideo Introduces AI Smart Search and Access Control Integration on First Alert Security Solutions at ISC West 2026

New software enhancements help expand business opportunities for residential and SMB security professionals

3/25/26

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 25, 2026 - At ISC West 2026, Resideo Technologies, a leading global provider of home comfort, safety and security solutions, introduced AI Smart Search available for First Alert® CX4 video cameras and a first-of-its-kind, cloud-based access control integration between ProdataKey (PDK) and First Alert security solutions. The new features reflect the company's commitment to enhance user experiences and unlock new business opportunities for residential and small-to-medium business (SMB) security professionals.

"Resideo continues to invest in our platforms and partnerships to help our First Alert Premier Partners optimize operations, strengthen customer relationships and enhance their businesses," said Ryan Park, senior product director of safety and security at Resideo. "By integrating First Alert security solutions with PDK access control, we're opening the doors for united access control and intrusion detection across thousands of installations."

New Solutions at ISC West 2026

At Resideo's booth, #10047, attendees can explore First Alert security solutions and intuitive software enhancements. New features include:

  • AI Smart Search on First Alert CX4 cameras offers generative AI to detect and classify data quickly. Users can describe an event using natural language and find relevant video clips in the Total Connect®2.0 app and web experience without manually reviewing and retrieving clips from multiple camera feeds.
  • Access control integration connects PDK's access control platform with Resideo's First Alert security systems and software platform. The integration connects these complementary systems and creates a unified security experience across multiple doors, buildings, and locations. It also offers synced user management from a single portal and enables a valid PDK credential to arm or disarm the security system when entering or leaving a location.

Accelerating Customer Success

Also at ISC West, visitors can learn how the broad First Alert security portfolio helps residential and SMB security professionals address key business priorities, including:

  • Streamline operations. The integrated security and video experiences help drive labor efficiency by reducing the need to switch between systems, while over-the-air updates, backward compatibility and remote management tools help streamline installation.
  • Strengthen customer relationships. Dealer branding and modular system design help deliver engaging, personalized customer experiences that enhance customer loyalty.
  • Expand business opportunities. New, exclusive First Alert Premier Partner Program offerings, including the Find-a-Pro webpage on FirstAlert.com, help connect consumers with security professionals. The recent Control4 integration also offers expanded opportunities and leads.
