City of Montgomery Reminds District 3 Residents of Upcoming Special Election Deadlines
The City of Montgomery is reminding eligible voters in City Council District 3 of the important dates for the upcoming Special Municipal Election.
Residents who live in District 3 are encouraged to make a plan to vote and take note of the following deadlines:
- August 4, 2026 - Absentee voting begins.
- August 17, 2026 - Last day to register to vote or update voter registration for this election.
- August 27, 2026 - Last day to apply for an absentee ballot.
- September 1, 2026 - Special Election Day.
- September 8, 2026 - Canvass of provisional ballots and certification of election results.
Voters are encouraged to verify their voter registration status before the registration deadline and review polling place information prior to Election Day.
