CLEVELAND and DALLAS, August 24, 2026 -Align Capital Partners' ("ACP") utilities-focused portfolio company E Source (the "Company") has acquired Aneden Consulting, an interconnection and compliance firm known for pairing deep technical expertise with a hands-on, client-first approach to navigating grid complexity. This acquisition strengthens E Source's ability to guide utilities, developers and hyperscalers through interconnection due diligence and compliance work with the same responsiveness and clarity Aneden Consulting's clients have come to expect.
As interconnection queues continue to grow nationwide amid surging power demand, Aneden Consulting's deep technical expertise has become increasingly valuable to utilities and developers alike. Founded in 2017, Aneden Consulting serves clients across the energy ecosystem, including ISOs, RTOs, utilities, independent power producers and renewable energy developers. Aneden will be part of E Source's growing Grid Engineering and Interconnection solution area.
"Aneden Consulting has built a reputation for being responsive and customer focused, and that's exactly the kind of partner utilities and developers need as interconnection gets more complex," said Joe Eazor, CEO of E Source. "Bringing their team into E Source means we can offer that same level of attentiveness, now backed by greater scale and depth."
"Our success has always been rooted in helping clients succeed through high-quality, customized solutions," said Olu Fagbemiro, Founder and CEO of Aneden Consulting. "Those principles closely align with E Source's approach, and together our growing teams can make an even larger impact for clients navigating an increasingly dynamic energy environment."
Since partnering with ACP, E Source has acquired fifteen companies and will continue investing in initiatives that expand the Company's technical depth and service breadth. Rob Langley, Matt Iodice, Dave Tiley, Sarah Whitney and Ryan Schmidt worked alongside management on the transaction. E Source was advised by McGuireWoods LLP and Aneden Consulting was advised by Westbury Group and Taft Law.
