City offices closed for Veterans Day holiday
In observance of the Veterans Day holiday, all city offices, libraries and facilities will close on Tuesday, November 11. Regular business hours will resume at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12.
Trash and recycling services are not affected by this closure. Residents with service scheduled for Monday should place their containers on the street before 5:30 a.m.

Buckeye is hosting an event for outdoor enthusiasts. Join us for the annual Veterans Day Hike at Skyline Regional Park on Tuesday, November 11, at 8:30 a.m.
Participants are encouraged to gather at Skyline's Mountain Wash Trail for a four-mile roundtrip hike to the summit, where an American flag will be posted in honor of those who have served our country - both past and present. Local veterans who wish to carry the flag to the summit should contact Buckeye Community Services at 623-349-6330 or via email at [email protected].
The Mountain Wash hiking trail is rated as difficult. Participants are advised to bring water, sun protection and to wear closed-toed shoes. Registration is requested but not required.
