Free Parking Deck Access for Downtown Parkers
With winter weather expected, Raleigh Parking is asking residents who normally park on Downtown streets to temporarily move their vehicles into select City parking garages. Doing so helps our Transportation crews clear snow and treat roads more quickly, safely, and effectively.
Free parking will be available during the weather event from 5 p.m. today through 7 a.m. on February 3 in the following City garages:
- Wilmington Street Garage - 117 S. Wilmington St
- Moore Square Garage - 233 S. Wilmington St
- City Center / Red Hat Garage - 429 S. Wilmington St
Please note:
Free parking ends at 7 a.m. on February 3. Vehicles remaining in these garages after that time will be subject to normal parking rates. Using these garages instead of on-street parking gives crews the space they need to plow and treat roads, helping keep everyone safer and making travel easier during winter conditions.
