R+L Carriers Opens New Kentucky Service Center

6/29/2026 - Wilmington, Ohio - Ohio-based transportation company R+L Carriers is pleased to announce the opening of a new service center in Georgetown, Kentucky (LEX). Officially designated the "Lexington" terminal, this facility will replace the previous Lexington location, moving operations just over 13 miles north.
Located at 425 Cherry Blossom Way, the LEX service center boasts 155 dock doors, a six-bay maintenance shop, three-lane fuel island and 7,500 square feet of office space. It is well-positioned to deliver freight along the Interstate 75 corridor, as well as other surrounding locales, including Frankfort, Richmond, Mt. Sterling and Berea. In addition to Lexington, R+L Carriers maintains active Kentucky service centers in Louisville, Owensboro and Paducah.
"Moving operations to this new facility will bring improved amenities and increased capacity to the Lexington service center," said Dusty Ruthven, R+L Carriers Chief Operating Officer (COO). "Lexington serves as a critical north-south juncture for freight traveling from Cincinnati through Knoxville, as well as Interstate 64 from Huntington through Louisville. With continued investment in our terminal network, we can provide more efficient, cost-effective service to new and returning customers."
