Rep. Weber Emphasizes Need for Stricter Background Checks on Massage Therapists

Many people use massage therapy and similar treatments as part of a healthy lifestyle, and no one should have to worry about being violated in that treatment setting because of weak background check policies. That's why I've been working to pass legislation to ensure that massage therapists must undergo the same background checks and reviews as similar state-licensed healthcare workers.
