Press Release: Aya Education announces $15,000 in grant funding for School Speech-Language Pathologists

Aya Education, a leading educational services staffing and workforce solutions provider, announced the launch of its School SLP Clinical Fellowship Grant. This grant will award a total of $15,000 to five speech-language pathologists (SLPs) completing their clinical fellowship year (CFY) in a school setting.

According to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the U.S. is experiencing an SLP shortage of approximately 4,600 speech-language pathologists per year, with 78% of schools currently in need of SLPs. Aya Education helps close this critical gap by connecting schools with traveling contract SLPs who can work at different schools as students' needs change. This flexible model gives schools timely access to qualified support while providing SLPs the opportunity to build their careers, gain experience in diverse educational settings and make a meaningful impact when and where they're needed.

All full-time school-based SLPs ages 18 and older in their CFY who meet all eligibility requirements are welcome to apply by November 1, 2026. Grant recipients will be selected and notified by December 1, 2026.
