Participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the high-level meeting of the Group of Friends of the UN Alliance of Civilizations

On September 25, 2026, a high-level meeting of the Group of Friends of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations was held in New York. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin participated in and addressed the meeting.

In his statement, the Minister of Foreign Affairs paid particular attention to the initiative of the Republic of Tajikistan on the International Decade of Strengthening of Peace for Future Generations, 2027-2036.

He also highlighted the role of preventive diplomacy, dialogue and mutual understanding in strengthening peace and stability.
