Experts, politicians and practitioners convene for the Charter anniversary
To mark the 25th anniversary of the proclamation of the EU's Charter of Fundamental Rights, FRA jointly organised with the European Commission and the Danish Presidency of the Council a conference entitled '25 Years of Rights: Reflecting on the Impact of the Charter'.
The 170 participants included experts, civil servants, judges, NGOs and politicians alike. The conference allowed the European Commission to present the mid-term review of its Charter Strategy and FRA to launch its new report Better legislation - Human rights impact assessments in lawmaking.
The agenda as well as the recordings of all the panel discussions and interventions are available online.
