On certain trucks, the wheel nut(s) could loosen and cause the wheel(s) to detach.
A wheel separation could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a wheel that separates could create a road hazard for others.
To reduce the safety risk, Mack advises you not to drive your truck until the recall repairs have been completed. Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact a dealership to arrange for an inspection of the wheels and hubs. Any damaged parts will be replaced.
